Outreach
‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’
Beginning at Mark 12:28 of the New King James Version of the Bible, a scholar asks Jesus, “Which is the first commandment of all?” Jesus answers, “The first of all the commandments is ‘Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one. And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.’ This is the first commandment. And the second, like it, is this, ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.”
Our Ministries
At St. George, we take these commandments to heart and dedicate our church to the worship of the Lord our God, while also reaching out and spreading our love to our neighbors in New Kensington, Pittsburgh, and throughout the world.
